best gelato EVER

beautiful scottsdale
we went to that's amore gelato yesterday, the perfect way to start spring break and enjoy the lovely weather we are having before the heat locks us all inside the house again. i had never been to this little place, but what a cozy store it is. the server is super nice and passionately talks about gelato and soccer with this amazing italian accent. so worth my effort of getting up from bed and putting some clothes to go outside lol!

my delicious gelato: stracciatella + cookies

and to end the sunday well, we hung out at the hot tub for a bit... good times, good times :)

it's arizona, baby!

hola, como estas?!

so this is my first post, exciting stuff.. :) for the longest time i've been thinking of having a blog, and actually had one during my teen years, but what better opportunity to start another one than when i'm living in another country, far from most of my family and friends? no better opportunity than this, might as well make some new friends here since i have Z-E-R-O, teehee.

i'm mari, living in scottsdale, arizona. i absolutely love it here, these beautiful sunsets we got are breathtaking and so, so, so different than the ones from my hometown rio de janeiro, brazil. oh believe me, we got awesome ones too, but there's something about the ones in arizona that i love... to keep it real, there are some things i dislike here too, like the extremely-hell-like-impossible-to-deal-with summer and the way it leaves my skin oh so dry... but that's minor, i like to think.

well i guess that's a good first post, better than the previous one i was thinking of doing consisting of testing, testing, testing. is this really working? oh boy.

look forward to having fun in this blog world that already entertains me so much. :)

ciao :)

PS: so uhm, it can be such a confusing subject because of the way i started the post, but in brazil we actually speak portuguese... like, uhm, portugal yea, not mexico or spain. :)
